Cascade Grassland Revegetation Project 2023

The Cascade Grasslands are located in Aintree along Cascade Drive, near the Taylors Road Bridge. At this site, volunteers spent 2 consecutive weekends planting approximately 1,000 Themeda Australis near the top of the bank of the Kororoit Creek. This work was then supported by Eat Grow Garden who planted a further 3,000 plants in this newly created themeda grassland.
