Our Purpose.

We want to see communities become aware of the environmental challenges and opportunities we face together. Through community workshops, online content, community events, speaking engagements and school based programs we hope to bring awareness of the threat of climate change, loss of bio diversity, and the problems of waste and over consumption, and also find community led solutions to these challenges.

We provide communities with opportunities to engage in environment and garden initiatives which teach skills and create change. We don’t want to simply talk about tackling climate change, over consumption, and loss of biodiversity, we want to provide people with opportunities to do something about it.

We start and operate social enterprises which can carry out the social and environmental work we seek to do. At present, Eat Grow Garden operates as a social enterprise which contributes to our purpose by building food garden, designing & building native landscapes, collecting and disposing of dumped rubbish, preparing and maintaining revegetation sites, conducting workshops and speaking engagements for other organisations. The following profits from Eat Grow Garden are directed back into our organisation’s community work and help pay for time and resources spent on events and programs which are offered for free to community and schools.
