2024 National Tree Day Community Planting

Our 2024 National tree Day was held in July 2024 at Aintree Reserve. We planted 3,000 plants at Aintree Reserve to create grassland habitat for insects, birds, kangaroos, and lizards. This year we had an amazing contingent of community members from 7 community groups and also general community members, resulting in an amazing 190 volunteers braving the cold wind and showery weather to help us love our environment. Massive thanks everyone, huge effort!!

Special thanks to Woodlea for partnering with us on this project, and 1st Caroline Springs Scout Group for making it your community planting event for the year, as well as those representing SES Aintree Unit, Aintree Multicultural Club, Friends of Kororoit Grasslands, Aintree Scout Group, Caroline Springs RSL Sub Branch, and Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth.
