Sustainability Week at Scouts

Caroline Springs Scouts held a Sustainability Week and got us to run workshops for each of the sections. Joeys learnt about worm farming and built 2 new worm farms for the group; Scouts learnt about composting and built a new compost bin; Cubs learnt about wicking beds and growing veg while planting out the veggie patch; and Venturers and Rovers explored reducing their plastic waste by saying no to soft drinks and brewing homemade kombucha.
